Compliance and Data Security
At Zeros Energy, we place great importance on compliance with regulations in the Turkish and global energy markets.
Since our inception, we have placed great importance on data security in our work in the Turkish and global energy markets, using data security methods that meet the data security standards of banks with the most advanced security systems. We analyze all network traffic with 24/7 active security monitoring systems and intervene quickly when any anomaly is detected. Furthermore, we ensure full compliance with all regulations in the energy markets through regular independent compliance and security tests conducted by external auditors.
Operating in multiple European markets, we are fully compliant with local and EU-wide regulatory frameworks. We maintain a proactive compliance structure that supports responsible trading activities and ensures transparency at every level.
Regulations we comply with:
• REMIT (Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency):
We report our trades and related market activities to the ACER registration system in a timely and structured manner.
• EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation):
Where applicable, we comply with financial oversight frameworks by fulfilling our reporting obligations for derivative transactions.
• MiFID II (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive):
Although we are currently outside the scope of MiFID-licensed activities, we closely monitor evolving obligations and are prepared to adjust our structure when transaction volumes or product types require registration.
Additional Measures:
• Robust internal documentation and audit trails
• Regular compliance updates with external legal advisors
• Market monitoring procedures to prevent and detect unusual behavior
• Secure KYC/AML processes with all counterparties
